Elizabeth Loftus teaches at the University of California, Irvine, where she holds positions in the Dept. of Psychology and Social Behavior and the Department of Criminology, Law & Society. She is also a professor of law. For the past three decades, she has been working primarily with studying human memory, eyewitness testimony and courtroom procedure.
Loftus received her undergraduate degrees in mathematics and psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles, and her doctorate in psychology from Stanford University.
